Holland at 6 Months

14 lbs 4 oz (16%)
26.5 in long (76%)
17 in for head circumference (78%)

Holland figured out how to roll, and it was her favorite activity for a while.

She kept rolling over for the photo shoot.

Little stinker gave up her binky (which seems like a distant memory now). Our easy baby isn't so easy anymore. She really doesn't like taking naps anymore. She will nap in the swing, be nursed to sleep, and sometimes fall asleep in the car seat. In our arms or in the cradle is a no go though (most of the time).

Holland loves attention! Her favorite thing is people playing with her. She loves being tickled, peek-a-boo, and patty cake. She loves nursing.(Glad she hasn't given that up with the binky!)

Holland drools and drools and drools. And just to add more wetness to the top of her shirts, she is also very proficient at blowing bubbles. No teeth yet, but I wonder if some of her tendency towards crankiness is due to them coming soon.

Holland's hair is getting long. We think she has longer hair than Miriam did when she was almost two. She loves clasping her hands together and playing with her feet. She has also started getting really interested in toys. As I am writing this she is playing with one of the jingle bells her older sisters got at the ward Christmas party.

Still no sign of sitting up. She still hates the bumbo! She doesn't even really like sitting up on laps. Her feet are still so expressive. I swear they wiggle almost as much as her hands.

Putting her up on a table like this is dangerous.

She has started preferring mommy. Or maybe just mommy's milk.

She kind of regressed from never waking up at night to waking up once. This is actually kind of nice for me because I don't have to pump in the morning if she nurses during the night and *knock on wood* she tends to go right back to sleep after she is done nursing.

We sure love our Holly baby!
