Blessing Day

John gave Darcy a blessing on August 9th. It was a little bit different because we didn't invite anyone to join us. In retrospect, maybe we could have invited family via zoom, like most things these days.
Unfortunately Darcy wasn't too happy during her blessing. But John still did a great job.
The other girls got there new school year blessings the same afternoon. They were happier during their blessings than Darcy was.
Darcy was blessed with a healthy body and safety. She was blessed with good decision making with help from the Holy Spirit to help guide her and direct her through her life.
Darcy was blessed with love for her family, neighbors, and friends, that she would have many opportunities to serve them, build her community and family.
Darcy was blessed with the desire to follow the gospel path. She was blessed with the desire to learn of her Savior, follow him, and feel love from him.  She was blessed with opportunities to make covenants, and keep them.
She was blessed to find joy and happiness in this tumultuous world.
Darcy sure has brought a lot of joy and happiness to our lives.
